Today we have been made aware of the latest scam email circulating. It appears to be from a postmaster account and is regarding emails which have not been able to be delivered to your inbox. It may contain your correct email address and current date. There will be a link in the email to a solution.
Our technical experts have checked and this link takes you to a box requesting you to input your username and password.
This is not a genuine logon window for University resources.
What should I do if I get one of these?
Simple:
- Don’t click on the link or provide your user credentials
- Forward the email to the Information Centre (information.centre@stir.ac.uk)
