We are happy to announce that our Information Security Awareness Training course is now available to all staff!
Access your training through WorkRite
The e-learning module is accessible in the same place where you can find all of your induction, GDPR and Health and Safety training. Just log in to the Portal and access your e-learning modules in WorkRite to complete the course. You will find it under “Information Security”.
The Information Security Awareness course is interactive and provides a broad overview of the information security issues facing the University. You can learn about topics such as:
- Protecting Information
- Physical and Procedural Security
- Working Remotely and in the Cloud
- Common Threats and How to Counter Them
- Why Research Data is Different
There is also a quiz at the end so you can put your knowledge to the test!
Information Services have also produced some guidance for you to reference as you are completing the course, which will give you University-specific information such as our organisational policies and guidance. You can access this through Unidesk.
