MANTRA is the free and open online research data management training course, provided by the University of Edinburgh and is currently being updated. The University of Stirling Research Committee recommends that all PhD students and early career researchers use MANTRA to become familiar with best data management practice
The first updated module “Research data in context” is now live on the site and provides an introduction to research data, the contexts in which data can be generated and the challenges presented by big data in society.
Since it’s launch in 2011, MANTRA has continually been updated, and over 10,000 different learners have visited in the last academic year alone.
