We are seeking to recruit student staff (Wi-Fi Wizards) to assist with setting up staff and students on the University Wi-Fi service – eduroam. We need approximately 5 new wizards to join our existing team.
The job involves:
- Being part of a student wizard team providing support to students and staff in getting their devices connected to Wi-Fi (eduroam). Devices include iPhones, iPads, tablet devices and Android mobiles, Windows laptops and MacBooks.
- Other clerical tasks as required, such as checking students into appointments.
- Possible involvement in providing the general enquiry service to students at the start of semester.
The start date for this post is 7 September 2019, with a recruitment afternoon on 19 August.
