For the third year in a row, we are participating in the JISC Digital Experience Insights survey (previously ‘Tracker’). We use this survey to find out how you are using digital technology at the University and what we can do to improve our services and support.
For example, after you told us in last year’s survey that your primary source of information is the web (rather than lecturers, support services etc), we have done a complete review of our web presence to reduce the volume of long wordy web pages and move a lot of our content into bite-sized chunks of info (FAQs) on UniDesk.
The survey is for students (Undergraduates and Post Graduate Taught). There will be a separate survey later in the academic year for staff and PGR students.
In this survey we are asking your opinions about the following;
- Canvas
- Listen Again
- Online assessments
- eduroam
- Referencing
- ebooks and ejournals
- File store and Box (cloud storage)
- Your use of desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones and printers.
- What digital skills will you need for your future
This survey is open to students and can be accessed online at http://stir.ac.uk/204
We have three prizes (1 x £100 and 2 x £50 Amazon vouchers) to give away to participants in this survey, so if you want to be in with a chance of winning, make sure you submit your survey then follow the link to enter the prize draw.
