To get into the library you can either use your student card, or you can download an app and use your phone.
It would be useful to set up your phone with the app even if you intend to use your student card.
Stocard is a free app available for iPhone and Android phones. simply download the app, add your student or staff ID card and you can then use your phone to enter and exit the library.
To add your student/staff card to the Stocard app:
- Open the app.
- Select Library from the list of cards.
- Scan the barcode on your student/staff ID card (ensuring you include the full barcode). Please note: Entering your barcode manually will not work.
- Tap Save.
When entering/exiting the Library, open the app and have the library barcode ready to scan at the entry gates.

We plan to run some pop-up events to help students and staff to install and scan their ID cards, we will update this blog with dates and times of these events.
