16 August 2017 Kudos Enterprise Zone Now changed to Training Room 1 This session will help you grasp the basics of disseminating your research using Kudos.  The University is working with Kudos throughout 2017, to help you maximize the reach and impact of your published work.  Kudos is free, easy and quick to use.  You need to invest just a few minutes explaining your work in plain language, enriching it with links to materials that add context, and sharing it via your social, web and email networks. This makes your work more accessible, and helps ensure it is found, read and applied by people all over the world, both within and beyond your field.

23 August 2017 Sage research Methods Training Room 1 This interactive workshop on SAGE Research Methods will give you the chance to discover all the available resources, from books and videos to dictionaries and datasets, and how these resources can help you find the answers to your research questions. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the platform first-hand, and discover some of the tools within SAGE Research Methods that you can use to help you with your research projects and enhance your methodology knowledge and skills.

30 August 2017 Complying with the REF Open Access policy via the RMS Training room 2 (limited to 12 attendees) This session will demonstrate how to add an accepted manuscript (AM) to RMS in compliance with the REF Open Access policy. We will meet in Training Room 2 so you will have the chance to add your own AMs.   Betsy will also be able to answer any questions you have about REF compliance, Open Access, and/or RMS.
