Good news if you’re tired of clicking through search results only to find that the book you need is on loan or in storage. LibrarySearch now includes a new filter called “Available on shelf now” to help you find physical items you can pick up immediately.
Using the “Available on Shelf Now” filter means, you can narrow your search results to show only items that are physically available right now – such as books, DVDs, or other materials that are sitting on the shelf and ready to use. That means no items that are on loan, on hold, or stored off-site.
You’ll find “Available on shelf now” under the Availability filter on the righthand sidebar of LibrarySearch results pages:
