Some students are currently unable to access the Westlaw legal database and books or journal articles published by Westlaw. This does not affect all students.
This issue is being investigated urgently by both Westlaw and Information Services staff.
Typically students receive a message saying “Registration Incomplete” and are then taken to a Sign in page asking for a User name and password. Please note that you do not have a user name and password for Westlaw (that is used by Law firms) but if you scroll down the screen you can try the option to “Access through academic institution” although at the moment this does not always work.
We will advise as soon as we have a resolution or further information.
