New courses and workshops from Academic Development.

Our Academic Development team are running a series of workshops, modules and the annual Learning & Teaching festival.

New to Teaching Week-Long Module (8-12 August)

This week-long online module provides an introduction to teaching at the University of Stirling, either for those who are completely new to teaching or to those who have arrived at Stirling from other institutions. We suggest about an hour of asynchronous engagement each day online, including two live webinars which will also be recorded.

Accessibility, Inclusion, and Decolonising Curricula Support & Workshop (17 Aug)

Ahead of the new semester, explore resources and support via the Accessibility and Inclusion pages on the Learning & Teaching SharePoint. In addition, the Academic Development team and the Library will be hosting a Decolonising Your Reading List workshop on 17 August to help teaching staff reflect on and take action in this area.

Learning & Teaching Festival (23-25 August)

The 2022 L&T Festival is a time for colleagues to gather, share practice, hear practical updates, and learn from our prominent keynote speaker Professor Sally Brown about authentic assessment. We hope you will join us for this inspiring start to the new academic year!
