This session is for all research staff and students with funding from UKRI councils (AHRC, BBSRC, ESRC, EPSRC, Innovate UK, MRC, NERC, Research England, & STFC). UKRI have introduced a new Open Access policy which applies to all original research articles submitted for publication from 1 April 2022 and monographs, book chapters, and edited collections published from 1 Jan 2024 that acknowledge their funding. To comply with this new policy, decisions need to be made before submission.
In this quick session, Betsy will detail what the policy requires, what you need to do, and the publishing deals and funding we have in place to help. There will be time for questions.
