Delivering Lectures and Seminars Online – webinar and self-study module

There are times when the online delivery of teaching can be beneficial to students. But do you know how you can deliver high-quality teaching sessions online without compromising on quality – either as a broadcast lecture, as short videos, or as an interactive webinar session?

A series of webinars will be held in August and September, where you can learn how to use these tools with your students. The sessions will show you how to make short videos, which you can share with your students, so they can access them in their own time.

In addition to the webinars, the materials from the course will also be available as a self-study module, from Wednesday 21 August. You will need a headset with headphones and a microphone in order to take part. The one-hour webinars will take place on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 21 August – 11.00am
  • Thursday 22 August – 1.00pm
  • Tuesday 27 August – 3.00pm
  • Thursday 29 August – 11.00am
  • Tuesday 3 September – 1.00pm
  • Thursday 5 September – 12.00pm

Please see Canvas, to access the self-study materials and to book on to webinars.
