Academic Development and Information Services are running a three-Week online course in Online, Distance and Blended Learning aimed at teaching staff in the University. Starting on 4th February, this short, online and practical module is all about designing for online learning.
Across the course of 3 weeks, you will learn different ways of presenting and organising your own modules online as well as how you can engage your diverse learners in this environment. You will also learn practical skills around audio, video, blogging and online webinars.
A short final project offers you the chance of certification from the University (CPD) for undertaking the course.
The module will take you about 3 hours a week although some of this can be orientated to work that you may already be undertaking. Blocking of 3x 1-hour blocks in your calendar would be a good idea.
If you have any questions about the course, and to sign up, please contact Ros Walker (ros.walker@stir.ac.uk), tel: ext 6873, or email academicdevelopment@stir.ac.uk
