SensusAccess allows staff and students to automatically convert documents into a range of alternate media including audiobooks (MP3 and DAISY), e-books (EPUB, EPUB3 and Mobi) and digital braille. The service can also be used to convert inaccessible documents such as image-only PDF files, JPG pictures and Microsoft PowerPoint presentations into more accessible and less tricky formats.

The service is web-based: Upload your file, specify the file type you’d like it converted to then enter your email address. After submission, you will receive an email with your converted file (or a link to it). It takes a few minutes for your email to arrive, longer if the file you’ve uploaded is lengthy or complex.
