Stirling Marathon – Library still open 24/7 for exam study

This Sunday sees the return of the Stirling Marathon.  Good luck to all those participating including some of our own Information Centre staff!

Those of you who are not running or cheering on others, will be glad to hear the that Library and Study Zone are open 24/7 throughout the weekend.

You may have to take a short walk to get to us, though, as the roads around campus are affected by the Marathon (see info below).  Our amazing Information Centre staff will be walking to work on Sunday to keep the Information Centre open as usual, 10-5pm.

Info about the road closures

Access on to campus is available by foot at any time on Sunday 29 April whilst there will be no vehicle access (including buses) between the hours outlined below.

via Bridge of Allan:                        9.30am – 2.30pm

via Causewayhead:                       9am – 4pm

via Hillfoots Road:                         9am – 4pm

If you are travelling to campus by car you can gain access before 0900 hrs from the rear entrance of the University and before 0900 hrs at the main entrance (0930 hrs if travelling via Bridge of Allan).

The front entrance will then re-open from 1430 hrs for vehicles travelling via Bridge of Allan and 1600 hrs via Causewayhead. The rear entrance of the University (Hillfoots Road) will re-open at 1600 hrs.
