More than 1 million file downloads: #STORRE

In September 2014 we started officially tracking STORRE usage around the world and this month we broke through the 1 million barrier! As of today, a massive 1,005,573 files have been downloaded from STORRE, the University’s Open Access research repository.

The usage stats are produced by the IRUS-UK portal. We joined IRUS in 2014, although STORRE had been going for many years before that (our first files were added in 2004) so our unofficial download figure will actually be far higher than the 1 million reported by IRUS.

It’s great to see our official figures climbing and we’re delighted to see STORRE enabling our research to be found and read cross the globe. 🙂
