Library catalogue unavailable Tuesday 5 July

The library catalogue will be unavailable on Tuesday 5th July from 08.30 due to essential maintenance work.  It is hoped to have access restored by the end of Tuesday.

Alternative access to the library catalogue will be available via our Stirgate service (Stirgate searches many library databases including the library catalogue – the catalogue results always appear at the top of your results).

You can also still access our electronic journals via our EJournal Gateway and you can access our many library databases from our A-Z list.

It will still be possible to borrow from our libraries although self-issue and self-return machines will not be functioning so please take any books to the Lending Desk.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

This catalogue downtime is part of essential preparations as we work towards migrating to a new updated catalogue – we are currently upgrading both the catalogue interface and the underpinning system.

There will be other necessary periods of downtime on the catalogue – our current draft timetable is as follows – the library catalogue is likely to be unavailable on the following dates:

5th July 2016

19th July 2016

8th August 2016

If you have any questions or need advice on accessing the library resources – please Contact Us.
