Information services have been working closely with Blackboard (the company that produces the underlying software) to understand why we have had two crashes of Succeed and two short periods of poor performance. To this end we have been advised to make

A restart of the system should only take 4-5 minutes and will be done at 8.00am on Thursday 29th September.
This almost certainly will not be the final time we need to restart the system. An email will be issued in advance of each restart when possible.
