World Book Night – Celebrating the Gift of a Good Book

On World Book Night, this Saturday 5th March 2011, 1 MILLION books will be given away! Anyone could apply to be a Giver, simply stating which of the 25 listed books they would give away and why.

For more information see the website: www.worldbooknight.org

One of the local collection points for the books is Waterstone’s book shop in the Thistle Marches. On Saturday Waterstone’s are also planning a quiz where the winner (randomly drawn) will able to choose three of the 25 books listed for World Book Night.
