Talislist upgrade

TalisList, the University’s Electronic Reading List system, will be upgraded and migrated to new hardware on Thursday 28th October.

This work is scheduled to take place before 9am, during the “at risk” period, but there is a chance that it will overrun. We will, of course, endeavour to keep any disruption or interruption to the service to an absolute minimum.

The new version has very few visible changes for end users, so casual users of the system should not notice much difference between the old and the new version. The upgrade mainly addresses a number of bugs relating to the creation of lists, as well as
addressing performance issues.

If anyone experiences any problems or issues following the upgrade, please don’t hesitate to contact me or your Senior Subject Librarian.
