Visit Us at the Student Support and Welcome Hub

Getting started at university can feel overwhelming, but help is never far away.

This autumn, Library and IT Services will be part of the Student Support and Welcome Hub, where you can drop in and speak to staff about getting set up and making the most of University services.

The Student Support and Welcome Hub will be open 09:00–16:00 from Thursday 10 September to Friday 25 September (weekdays; outside of these times, you will find us at the Information Centre).

Come and see us if you need help with:

  • Accessing your student account and portal
  • Setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA)
  • Connecting to eduroam Wi-Fi
  • Installing Microsoft 365
  • Accessing Canvas
  • Finding and using library resources
  • Downloading and using the University of Stirling app

Need help getting connected?

Our friendly IT Wizards can assist with:

  • Connecting devices to eduroam Wi-Fi
  • Installing Microsoft 365 applications
  • Navigating Canvas, Panopto, OneDrive, and Library services
  • Printing, copying, and scanning

📍 Find them at the Student Support and Welcome Hub on Level 3 of Campus Central or on Level 2 of the Library, near the Information Centre.

Digital Skills for Students

Digital skills are essential for study, work, and everyday life. The Digital Skills Hub helps students build confidence and capability across a range of digital tools and technologies.

The hub includes:
