It has come to our attention that some students have received an email from a company called My-yearbook.com. These emails can be identified by their subject “Complete Account (Stirling 2023/2024 Yearbook)” sent from “Yearbook 23/24 <no-reply@wufoo.com>”
Please be aware that the university has no affiliation with My-yearbook.com – they are an independent organisation selling products. We have removed these emails from your inbox as a precaution. However, if you have already clicked on any links or made any payments in response to this email, please contact information.centre@stir.ac.uk to allow us to check your account is still secure.
It is entirely up to you as individuals whether you want to buy these products but we would caution you to think carefully about how much personal information you share. We would also suggest that if you do want to make a purchase use your private email address and don’t use your university password.
As a reminder, all staff and students have access to Cyber Security Awareness Training, and it can be accessed via: https://universityofstirling.metacompliance.com/
You can also access the training via Teams. The Metacompliance app should be available on the left-hand side bar within Teams.
You will not need to log in and should be able to access the course immediately.
If you have any questions, please contact the Information Centre at information.centre@stir.ac.uk.
