Join us for Green week

At University of Stirling Green Week takes place every year and is an interactive week focused on sustainability, active travel, biodiversity, and waste reduction.

The library has recently signed the Green Libraries Manifesto, and have joined the partnership with many other libraries to start taking action on climate today. Libraries occupy a place in the heart of their community and at the University our library is no different. Libraries can lead by example through our own environmental actions and use our power and reach to inspire people to take positive action.

The university has a calendar of events for Green Week that students and staff are invited to attend. There is a wide range of events on offer, from getting you bike fixed for free or attending a sustainable living fair. Please check this link for details, please note some events are ticketed.

Pop in to the library during green week to browse our green week book display, or pick up a book from our free book swop located in the wellbeing space.

If you can’t make it in to the library don’t worry, you can still participate in Green week, we have curated a Green Week reading list which you can access from home.
