For those who prefer guidance in written format, there are several online guides.

General guide to Referencing

The Library Subject Guides also have sections on referencing in that subject.

There’s also a guide to Refworks, which is the university’s recommended software for managing references. It’s not essential to use the software, but it might save you some time in the longrun.
