Launch of New MS Teams Meeting Integration in Canvas

We are delighted to inform you that we have successfully released a new integration within Canvas for Microsoft (MS) Teams Meetings. This new integration means there is a new and improved way for you to access and join your MS Teams meetings for your modules (seminars / lectures etc).

There is now a link within the Canvas navigation menu ‘MS Teams Meetings’ where you can view and join the scheduled classes for each module.  You will also be able to view and join your MS Teams Meetings via your Outlook calendar which is accessed from your student email.  You can also access the meeting from the invitation in your email.  Don’t decline the meeting invite as it will be deleted from your calendar, and you won’t be able to get it back.
