Additional study spaces

The University has made available additional spaces for students to participate in online lessons. The following rooms are now available (up to and including Friday 10 December), for you to book a seat:

Labs with PCs:

  • Cottrell, 2B41: 6 PCs
  • Cottrell, 2B43: 8 PCs (not on Thursdays)
  • Pathfoot, Study Centre 1: 12 PCs

Rooms without PCs (for use with personal laptops):

  • Cottrell, 4B108: 10 seats
  • Cottrell, 4W2: 9 seats
  • Cottrell, 4W3: 6 seats

You need to book seats in any of these rooms via Resource Booker. When you log on to Resource Booker, you should select the ‘book a study space for virtual classes’ tile. Once you have booked, you should receive an immediate confirmation of your booking.

Please ensure that you sit at the desk numbered as per your booking confirmation email. Spaces are limited, but we will keep the demand for these spaces under constant review.

On departure from the room, please wipe down surfaces and PC peripherals before and after use with the sanitising wipes provided – please see all the COVID-19 protocols for booking rooms, via the link below. In order to minimise noise, headphones are required.

If you no longer require your booking, please ensure you cancel your booking here

Further information is also available on the Access to the library, computer labs ad study spaces webpage.
