For #StirWellbeingWeek we are hosting a mindfulness session on Thursday 5th March 11:30 – 12:15 in the Wellbeing Space, Library Level 2.
This is a 45-minute session to introduce you to the practice of mindfulness
What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the art of bringing attention to the present moment in a kind and non-judgemental way. It is useful if you spend a lot of time worrying about the future or find it hard to let go of situations or events once they have passed.
The group leader will be using breathing, relaxation and guided practices during the session, which are all done seated.
You don’t need to book for this event, you can just drop-in.
