As of 1st October at 08:00, the University’s Wi-Fi service has been routed over our new and enhanced JANET circuits. Some of you may have noticed an improved service, depending on the device and external web service you are using. The main benefit of this latest step is to provide up to ten times the previous internet capacity allowing the equivalent increase in network traffic being managed to and from the campus, supporting the ever increasing Wi-Fi usage while maintaining high performance.
