As part of our regular maintenance routine, Information Services staff will be carrying out upgrade work on the wireless network (including the Network Access Control system) to improve compatibility and security. This work will take place during our usual at-risk period, between 07:30 and 08:30 from Tuesday until Friday this week.
While this work is not expected to cause any significant disruption, users should be aware that the wireless network will be at-risk during these periods and that loss of connectivity for wireless devices may occur for brief periods. Following the successful completion of this work, support for updated client device operating systems should be available – a further post will be made at a later date with details of this.
