A new registration system has been developed for Digimap. Release of the new system requires a significant period of service unavailability.
* New registrations for Digimap (using the current system) will be closed from 4pm Monday 26th January.
* Digimap will then be unavailable all day on Tuesday 27th January, while the new system is put in place.
* The service will be available again by 9am on Wednesday 28th January.
Please create any maps or download data that you may need, before the period of service unavailability.
EDINA have apologised for the inconvenience caused but due to the significant changes required to release the new system they must close access to Digimap during this time.
The new Digimap registration system will allow users to register and instantly access Digimap Collections via email verification, speeding up access for new users significantly. EDINA hope that this much improved interface for registering will help make up for new users being prevented from registering during the release period.
Existing registered and active users will not notice any change.
