Succeed modules will open on the same basis as last year. For the Autumn semester 2014 this will be:
- 2nd year modules will open on the Monday before the start of semester (8th Sept)
- 3rd and 4th year modules will open on the Tuesday before the start of semester (9th Sept)
- Post-graduate modules will open on the Wednesday before the start of semester (10th Sept)
If a module has, say, both 2nd and 3rd year students on it, it will open on the Tuesday before the start of semester and all students (regardless of which year they are in) will gain access to it at the same time. It will not be the case that 2nd years gain access earlier then 3rd years, otherwise they could gain advantages, such as selecting all the ‘best’ slots on any sign-up sheets in the module.
1st years are allocated to their modules on Friday 12th September but will not get access to modules in Succeed until registration is completed. Registration is completed by collecting an ID card. Succeed access should then follow within a few hours.
Please note that some staff change the start dates of modules. Please check the My Student Status link on the Portal for the latest information on precisely when your modules are scheduled to open.
