Iain Banks exhibition – Parallel worlds

The University of Stirling is delighted to announce a new exhibition presenting a selection of foreign editions of Iain Banks’ novels from his personal collection. Iain Banks graduated from the University of Stirling in 1975 with a degree in English and Philosophy, and was later awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of the University in 1997. The exhibition highlights the international appeal of Banks’ fiction and shows the variety of ways his work was presented in different countries around the world.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Thursday 20 March at 6.30pm in the University of Stirling Library, and is open to the public as well as staff and students of the University of Stirling. Refreshments will be served and guests will then have the opportunity to view the exhibition.
