As the festive season approaches, we’d like to let you know about our opening hours over the Christmas and New Year period. Whether you’re catching up on reading, studying for January exams, or simply looking for a quiet space, we’ll be open on several days across the holidays with a few closures to allow our team a well-earned break.
Need help from home or while we are closed?
Visit the Library and IT website or UniDesk Self-Service Portal for all of your library and IT needs. Use the UniDesk Self-Service Portal to log a call.
Staff and students will be able to access Library and IT support outside of Library and IT opening hours by using our Norman out-of-hours service, which can be reached by emailing information.centre@stir.ac.uk. Students can also contact us via LiveChat on the portal.
Our out-of-hours service from Norman will be available during the following periods:
- 17:00 on 24 December to 08:00 on 29 December
- 17:00 on 31 December to 08:00 on 2 January
During these times, IT support will continue to be available even when the Library and IT teams are off-site.
