RefWorks Citation Manager (RCM) is an add-in tool for Microsoft Word. It enables you to cite references directly into your document and automatically build your bibliography. It has recently been updated.
If you use RCM we recommend that you check whether you are using the latest version and update to the new add-in if necessary.
Check the ribbon in Word to find which version you have:
- The old version displays as RefWorks – RCM.
- The new version displays as just RCM.
To get the new version
- When you open the old ‘RefWorks – RCM’ you will see information on a blue background taking you to ‘Get add-in).
- Alternatively, go to Microsoft AppSource to get the add-in.
- Within Word, you can also link to the Add-in store to search for RefWorks Citation Manager.
