Information Services invites you to join us for some fantastic events to help you hit the ground running when it comes to the Library and IT at the University of Stirling.

What’s on…

Visit the Student Welcome and Support Hub

Visit the Student Welcome and Support Hub on level 3 in Campus Central for all the information and support you need to get started at the University of Stirling. The hub will be open from 10.00 to 16.00 from Thursday 19 January until Friday 27 January.

You’ll be able to get help with enrolment, get support on visas and immigration, ask queries about finance and get help with setting up your IT equipment. Student Support Services will be on hand to answer any other questions you have and there’s a free University goody bag for all who attend.

Essential Student Guide to Library and IT Services

Learn all about the Library and IT services at Stirling including how to install Office365 for free, access our many online resources, and use our wonderful Library. All new students are asked to attend the Essential Guide to Library and IT Services workshop. This workshop will give you a head start in your academic studies.

Canvas, Teams, and other technology for classes

Wondering how to make your way around Canvas? Join one of our Canvas orientation workshops for advice on logging in/navigating, setting up notifications, groups and getting help. Learn about Panopto (Listen Again to lectures), how to upload your assignments, and Microsoft Teams. Canvas, Teams, and other technology for classes is a compulsory workshop for all students.
