I’m struggling to find where and how I sign up for my seminars and workshops for my modules. It hasn’t been made clear at all on Succeed or by email which is inconvenient as I wanted to book mine as soon as it opened so as to get times and dates that suited my timetable this semester.
Hi Rebecca,
Seminar sign up is available for one of your modules relu913 within succeed. The other modules have not put the seminar signups into succeed as yet. If you want to find out when this will happen please contact your module co-ordinator.
You need to wait until your first lecture. They will explain how and when you will be able to sign up.
Where will I find information on whether I can sign up for seminars on Succeed for my modules?
Hi Sarah jane,
Most seminar sign ups will be in your succeed modules. If you are having trouble locating signups in succeed check with your module co-ordinator.
Where in succeed are the modules as I cant seem to find anything except the feedback first task
You would need to check with your department or the module co-ordinator. The departments put the content into succeed and they all do it a wee bit differently and at different times.
Sorry to not be able to give a more definitive answer.
Trudie
Hi there, if you are a new 1st year undergraduate you will not get access to your modules until after you have your student card. For most new students this will be Sunday 11th or Monday 12th.

Hi there,
I am going into 2nd year and am fully enrolled. However, none of my modules are showing up on Succeed. How can I fix this?
Hi Louise, if you just completed your enrolment today your succeed modules will be available after 6:30 tomorrow morning.
Hi, I signed up for my ENGU903 seminar without realising I have a timetable table clash (my class before lasts two hours instead of one). How do I leave the group and sign up for a new one, as I cannot join a new group?
Thanks in advance
Hi, If you contact the department or module co-ordinator they should be able to help with this.
Good morning!
I am not fully enrolled yet (need to get my passport checked), but paid tuition fees, can i still sign up for the seminars today?
You will not be able to get access to your succeed modules until the after you have collected your ID card. If you are a new student you can collect your ID card on Sunday (10- 4:30) or Monday (9:30-4)
Hi there, going into my final year now and not able to find the signup for any of my 2 modules (dissertation and marketing and retail consultancy project?) – Any idea if these are hidden away or just not enabled yet?
If you have access to the modules but are not able to see seminar sign ups. Contact the department or your module co-ordinator who may be able to tell you when these will be available.
Hi,
I’m in third year and none of my modules are showing on succeed, I’ve signed out and in and refreshed the page. I really need to pick classes for this semesters modules otherwise places will be taken.
Thanks
Hi Sophie, if you only completed enrolment today you will gain access to your succeed modules after 6:30 tomorrow.
Hi
Thanks for responding, that’s good to know but my friend who has taken exactly the same modules enrolled today also but managed to see her modules and pick her classes.
Thanks
without being able to check your friends record I would not know why this is. If you can email us at infocentre@stir.ac.uk with your friends name. I think probably they must have completed enrolment earlier than today.
Hi I’m going into 2nd year and have enrolled but my modules aren’t up yet. When will they be available?
Hi Abigail can you tell me your student number please?
Hi it’s 2213140.
Hi Abigail, I checked your record and there is a note for you to contact ask@stir.ac.uk to get your enrolment record checked. Sorry no Idea why.
When will I get access to my modules on succeed?
Hi Bethany, first year students don’t get access to their succeed modules after ID card pick up on 11th or 12th of September.
Hi I have just got an email from one of my course tutors to say that we need to pick a seminar. I cant seem to find where I go to pick the seminar ? can anyone help ?
Thanks
🙂
Hi Shannon, yes you will need to pick your seminars. You do this in succeed but as yet you have not completed enrolment. If you can logon to the portal and complete the tasks required. You then need to pick up your ID card. (ID card pickup is running on Sunday 11th and Monday 12th) Once you have your ID card there will be a few hour delay before you get access to Succeed.
Hi I’m a 4th year student. And I have fully enrolled a week or so ago. 2 of my modules have appeared on succeed as well as two from my 3rd year and a module that I am no longer doing this semester. But my dissertation module has not appeared. I would really like to check this soon. As at present quite a few of my seminars and lectures overlap and I wanna work a way around this.
Hi Laura,
Can you give me your student number to allow me to have a look at this please.

Hi Laura,
I am not sure, I have logged a call with our succeed support team. Keep an eye on your uni email for a response.

Hello,
I have completed the online enrolment and photo ID upload which has also been approved. I’ve received an email that states sign-up for EDUU9E1 was available from noon today however I am not sure where and how I sign up for it?
Hi Toni, You will get access to succeed (which is where seminar sign up is) after you have collected your ID Card. ID card collection is on Sunday and Monday.
Hi, I have completed online enrolment and picked up my student ID card. I’m struggling to access my modules and pick seminars, I was wondering if you would be able to give me some guidance on how to do it.
Hi Sophie would you be able to give me your student number please.

Hi Sophie, I checked and the collection of your ID card was the final part of enrolment. You should have access to your succeed modules after 6:30am Wednesday. Your seminar sign ups should be in succeed. However if you are not able to find them check with the academic department or your module co-ordinator.

Hey, I am going into 4th year and don’t have access to any of my modules on succeed where I need to sign up for my seminars. I realised that I was unsure if I had enrolled but I wasn’t sent an email and it isn’t allowing me to do it on the portal.
Please advise
Hi I checked your record, there is a message to say that you need to contact the enrolment team. Their email address is ask@stir.ac.uk
Hello, I have enrolled but I can’t see my modules in Succeed. My student number is: shg00042, any help will be appreciated.
My student number is 2533067
Hi Shaun,
Keep an eye on your university email I have logged a call to the team who look after succeed and they are going to get back to you.
Hello Trudie, thanks for your help.
Hi
I have successfully enrolled photo uploaded, module registration confirmed and sponsor confirmation.
I now have an e-mail stating I am conditionally enrolled. I am a part time student – MSc Dissertation Housing Studies and expect to be a distance learner for the module. Will my ID be posted out? As I am unable to collect due to distance living in Darlington Co.Durham and work commitments. Do you require sight of my passport?
As I can upload this
Please advise
Hi Tony,
This would be a question for student services. if you email ask@stir.ac.uk they should be able to advise.
Hi, i am unable to access seminars in succeed. Will i have to wait until i am fully enrolled to access this feature ?
Yes Ross,
you need to wait until you are fully enrolled and have picked up your ID card.

I’m worried I’ve missed the enrol process as I can’t see any of my modules on Succeed. I wasn’t aware I had to enrol for the second year and have only selected my Autumn modules (which are listed in my degree programme and my timetable is generating fine). I’m extremely anxious about this and can’t stop worrying. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
Hi Tony, I have checked your record. If you click on online enrolment it says your enrolment record needs to be checked. There is a link to open an email to the enrolment and data team. If you click the link it will open an email. You should email them to check.
I’ve just noticed this is only on the standardised MSc Marketing timetable and not on my personalised one. So I guess the class is only for those whose first language is not English.
Many Thanks,
J
Hi Jonathan, I checked and you are registered for 3 modules (speaking english is not one of them 🙂 )
Hi Trudie,
Thanks for checking, that’s much appreciated. Would it be possible for you to check if I have any Seminar Sign-ups? I’ve checked the sign ups but in each of the modules the only thing there is a YouTube video on “how to work in groups”?
Many Thanks,
J
Hi there, any seminar signups would be in succeed. If you can’t find them you would need to contact your module co-ordinator or the department.
Hi, I am a postgrad and fully enrolled on Wednesday but I cannot see any of my modules on succeed. Is there something I need to do or has the department just not made them available yet?
Many thanks

Hi Amy, There seems to be something a bit strange about your accounts. I have logged a call with our systems team and they are going to look into it. Keep an eye on your email and we will get back to you.
Hi, I am studying the MSc. Media and Communication Management of University of Stirling in Vietnam. My student ID is 2536844. I have successfully completed the online part of enrollment process. I had an email stating that I am conditionally enrolled for this enrolment period. To be fully enrolled I have already uploaded my image to produce my ID card. I read on the website that only when I collect my ID card can I access my modules on succeed. However, as i am living in Vietnam, is it right that the ID card will be sent to my home address in Vietnam? Do I have to wait until I receive my ID card to see the modules?
Hi Kim,
I am not sure when you will get your ID card, and not sure how this works with your succeed modules. I have sent an email to the student hub and copied you in to the message. They should be able to tell you.
