The University’s data communications service provider has given notice of maintenance works they will be performing between 2200 on Sunday 29 September and 0600 on Monday 30 September, which will impact on the availability and performance of our connection to the internet. The service is designed to be resilient to outages so there will be a short (2-3 minute) complete break in service at the start of the works, while the system reconfigures itself to cater for the loss of a circuit, and a further short complete break at the end of the works to return to normal operation. In between these short breaks Internet service speed may be reduced.
