We apologise that the advertised work to the Thistle Chambers network did not happen yesterday. Our service provider has subsequently informed us that the necessary work will take place today, Friday 25 January, between 13:00 and 17:00.
Information Services has been advised by our service provider that it will be necessary to interrupt network services to Thistle Chambers during a 4-hour period on Thursday 24th January, to allow for essential equipment to be upgraded.
They have yet to arrange the precise time at which the work will be carried out, so all we can advise you for now is that it will take place during the day (09:00 to 17:00) and should last for no longer than 4 hours. This entry will be updated once we receive more precise information from our service provider.
While the work is being carried out, you may notice several interruptions to your network connection. Following the work, all you should need to do to restore network access is reconnect your CampusNet connection. If you experience problems doing this, please restart your device and try again before contacting the Information Centre.
