Library entrance relocated Wed 24-Fri 26 October

**WORK NOW COMPLETE**The main entrance is now open but the new entry system is not yet in use.

To allow for the installation of the new Library access system on Stirling campus, the Library entrance will be temporarily relocated to the opposite end of the glass wall to the left of the current entrance (near to where the old entrance was for those who remember it).  Entry will be via the sculpture garden in front of the library – doors at either end.

There will be a temporary Reception desk at the relocated entrance.

If you are borrowing books via the Self Issue machines during this period, please remember to take your receipt so that you can show it at the Reception desk when leaving the building.

The Library entrance will reopen as soon as possible when the work is completed (hopefully Friday) but the new access system will not be switched on until the vast majority of students have picked up their new ID cards. We are reissuing ID cards to those in 3rd or 4th year or who do not already have a new style card with a chip in it to allow them to use the new Library access system and also to log on instantly to the MFDs (printer/copiers) in the Library and elsewhere on campus.

If you need a new ID card, you will be emailed when your new card is ready for collection from the Library.
