In advance of the new semester, there will be a number of information sessions to support colleagues in their use of Canvas and the AI Assessment Scale.
Canvas
The Canvas Baseline is being introduced to ensure students have a more consistent quality experience when they access their modules online. Colleagues from Learning and Teaching Enhancement will introduce the Baseline features and some suggestions for enhancing the student experience with Baseline+.

AI Assessment Scale
The AI Assessment Scale is being rolled out across all modules and programmes following a successful trial by the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Faculty of Health Sciences and Sport last year, helping to provide students with a clearer understanding of what level of AI use is acceptable in each assessment exercise. This session will include practical guidance on using the Scale from academic colleagues.
