Random Acts of Kindness Day 2025 was last Monday,17th February. It was the perfect opportunity to spread a little joy and positivity in our University community. This year, the library has come up with a delightful way to celebrate – a biscuit giveaway with positive notes from none other than our beloved University squirrel!
To inspire you, we’ve gathered some heartwarming quotes from the RAK “Make Kindness the Norm” display, where we left blank love hearts for our library users to leave positive messages for each other.

The squirrel also took on a new role for the day and was the library book fairy (Shhh don’t tell anyone) placing a selection of books for users to find and keep for themselves.
