Microsoft are preparing to release an upgrade to our student email system (Outlook Web App) this Friday, 7th June.
The interface of OWA will change to fall in line with hotmail.com/outlook.com so will look a bit different after the upgrade (but not massively different – it shouldn’t cause you any real problems in doing what you need to do).
There shouldn’t be any real downtime on Friday as the upgrade is rolled out – if you happen to be using OWA when your account is upgraded, you may be asked to logout then log back in again.

It is also worth noting the changes to the minimum browser specification eg if you are using Safari on a Mac you now need Safari 5 (or higher) rather than Safari 3.1 and on Windows laptops/PCs you now need IE8 (or higher) instead of IE7.
