We’ve been thrilled to hear how much some students are loving the new docking monitors on Level 2 of the library — thank you for the positive feedback! 🙌
But we’ve also heard some concerns about the noise levels in the space. Level 2 has become a lively hub of collaboration, conversation (and sometimes dancing 💃🕺), along with a lot of tech-powered productivity… and it’s definitely not quiet.
So now, we’re turning to you — our students — to help us decide:
Should Level 2 stay Loud and Proud?
A vibrant, social space where ideas flow freely and teamwork thrives?
OR
Should it Settle Down?
A calmer, quieter environment that supports focused study and quiet teamwork to allow for concentration?
🗳️ Have Your Say
We’re running a quick user experience poll to gather your thoughts. Whether you’re a regular on Level 2 or just passing through, your opinion matters.
👉 Vote now and help shape the future of your library space. There is a display board on level 2 where you can vote to let us know your thoughts.
Let’s make Level 2 work for everyone — together.
Usually there are no seats available on floor 1, so when we want to study with friends and discuss some topics we go to second floor. I think it should stay as it is now.
Thanks for your response. We will be publishing a blog post soon with our findings.

Should stay as it is. That is why we have the other quiet floors for. Plus, it gives a chance for. conversation in a comfortable space, without having to book a study space or sit in the even louder atrium.
